After studying patisserie, hospitality and catering at college I went on to find my love for customer service. Training at Michelin star level, at Lucknam Park Hotel. I worked my way up to Supervisor of the Brasserie Restaurant over 2 years. When working on the pastry section I realised how much I missed the kitchen and knew I had to get back to baking. After my Dad passed away, I needed something to focus on. It made me realise how short life is, and if you want something, to go for it. I wanted to combine my two passions for gardening (with my Dad) and baking (with my Mum) hence the name and play on words SunFLOUR Cakery, was born. Family is a massive part of my life and everything I have, I have them to thank for.

I knew a 'cake shop' was always what I wanted, even at school. Never did I think it would be this soon, or I would be so young, but everything happens for a reason. It's been over whelming the support I have received from locals, how far people have travelled to visit the shop and how busy I've been from day one.  After less than 4 months of the shop opening I was nominated and won an England's business award for 'best craft or creativity'. Soon, the shop will have been open for a year and it's been the best decision I ever made. This is only the beginning and I cannot wait for what the future will bring.
